Chelsie

When you see a 1-month-old puppy struggling on the streets, wouldn’t you feel pity for it?

That’s what a man felt for it.  A man opening up his shop. Its mother had died in an accident and the little one had struggled to cross the road to reach the man. It didn’t have any siblings. A tiny little puppy with coffee brown fur and lovely green eyes. The man decided to take care of the little one and named him Charlie. He was a mischievous but sweet little guy. He was very attractive because of his colour and many people wanted but the man never gave the little guy, often by saying “He is our shop’s guard. We will never give him to anyone.”

Now, the man had a little daughter. The girl often said that puppy was hyperactive. When Charlie was around 3 – 4 months old, the man brought him home. He also declared that the puppy was not a boy but a girl and named it Chelsie. His daughter was fine at first but soon the puppy got excited and the little girl got scared. The man loved his daughter dearly so he took the puppy away. A month later, he brought Chelsie but his daughter had started to adjust to it. The puppy was tied to the table leg but the girl would take good care of it. The girl’s mother would give it food and take her for walks along with her daughter.

You see, the girl had an aunt. She lived nearby. When the parents went to work, they would drop her off at the aunt’s house. The girl would come at noon to give the food made for Chelsie. Soon,  Chelsie and the girl became best friends.

They became so thick friends that once, when the girl and her mother went to their hometown, the puppy was really sad. She was really happy when they came back.

So, that is the beautiful story of the puppy named Chelsie.
