Friends Forever

  RuRu, RoRo and RaRa rabbits were the best of friends. RoRo was the naughtiest of them all. In fact, he was known as naughty Ro all around the forest. He would always get into trouble. Once, he stole   Grandpa Elephant’s glasses and Grandpa had to search his house for more than ten times until RoRo returned it. One day, he was hopping to RaRa’s burrow when he saw Mr Fox sitting outside his den, reading a book. Just then, an idea struck RoRo. It was obvious that if the fox saw him, he would chase RoRo. So, he set a trap to make Mr Fox fall into it.   Then, RoRo walked towards him and challenged the fox to catch him. But the fox would chase him anyway. So, he started running after RoRo. Unfortunately for RoRo, he tripped and the fox caught him before reaching the trap. He dragged RoRo into a small enclosed corner of the den where Mr Fox locked him up.  Hi dear reader! You may have guessed from the title itself that this story is about football. Being a football lover myself, I'd love to contribute a football story to the world of stories. It starts like this: "What! You want to play football. No dear, you can join that singing club in your school but no football for you. Whoever has heard of a girl playing football.", her mother had said when 6 year old Meera had confessed to her mother that she wanted to join the football club in her school. Meera was a young girl who dreamt of being a professional football player. She had talent but her mother forbid her from even speaking a word about the sport in their household.
